The only network connections made by DeskPulse are to public cryptocurrency price APIs (Binance and CoinGecko) to fetch current market data. These requests contain no personal information and are identical to visiting these services in a web browser.

2. How We Use Information

Since DeskPulse does not collect any information, there is no usage of personal data. The application solely displays cryptocurrency prices fetched from public APIs on your desktop.

3. Data Storage

DeskPulse stores minimal configuration data locally on your computer, including:

• Your preferred cryptocurrencies to track
• Widget size and position preferences
• Update interval settings
• Theme preferences (light/dark)

This data never leaves your computer and can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the application.

4. Third-Party Services

DeskPulse connects only to the following third-party services for price data:

• Binance Public API (for cryptocurrency prices)
• CoinGecko Public API (for cryptocurrency prices)

These connections are read-only and do not require authentication. No personal data is sent to these services.

5. Security

DeskPulse is designed with security as a priority:

• No network connections except to public price APIs
• No access to browser data or extensions
• No access to cryptocurrency wallets or private keys
• Open-source code available for audit
